Remove obstacles and champion engineering excellenceCollaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and senior leaders to turn business and technical requirements into actionable plans and successful outcomesDrive Innovation: Continuously refine development processes, encourage new ideas, and help shape the team’s vision for both the short and long termBe a Trusted Partner: Advise senior management, drive alignment, and help implement strategic decisions across your teamMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience 3+ years managing software engineering teams using Agile methodologies for Enterprise SaaS applications10+ years building large-scale commercial backend services (AWS, Java, Spring Boot, MySQL)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environmentExcellent communicator and active listener, comfortable presenting to large audiences and leading group activitiesProven mentor with a track record of developing successful teamsPreferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced product development environment.Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and retaining strong engineering teamsStrong people-management skills with experience handling performance reviews, career development, and succession planning.Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across cross-functional groupsExperience leading multi-team or multi-project initiatives with clear business impactStrong background in strategic planning, resource management, and budget forecastingExpertise in setting engineering standards, driving process improvements, and establishing operational excellenceAbility to foster a diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe work cultureExperience managing teams in a hybrid or distributed work environmentStrong mentoring and coaching capabilities—ability to develop next-generation leadersDemonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhy You’ll Love Working Here  Autodesk is a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software.
