Job Requisition ID #25WD93365Position OverviewThe Software Engineer will help build Autodesk Fusion, a cutting-edge platform for design and manufacturing professionals. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role focuses on hands-on implementation, agile development, and contributions to software architecture. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, UX, and QA—the Software Engineer ensures delivery of high-quality, reliable software that aligns with Autodesk’s mission to provide continuous value to customers worldwide.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement features for Autodesk Fusion using modern programming practicesCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesMaintain code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practicesTypical projects: Enhancing modeling capabilities, integrating cloud services, and improving application performanceTechnologies used: C++, Python, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development toolsRole type: Individual contributor within a collaborative engineering teamMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)1-3 years of professional software development experienceProficiency in C++ and object-oriented programmingFamiliarity with agile development methodologiesStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality resultsTravel: Minimal, primarily for team meetings or conferencesPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based architectures and distributed systemsFamiliarity with CAD/CAM software or design/manufacturing workflowsKnowledge of Python or other scripting languagesBackground in performance optimization and large-scale application developmentPassion for delivering exceptional user experiences#AC-1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
