Job Requisition ID #25WD93630Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a QA Developer to join the team building the Autodesk Libraries Platform—a foundational system that enables consistent, scalable, and user-friendly access to shared content across Autodesk products.As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of platform components and workflows that support designers, engineers, and developers. Your work will directly impact how users discover, organize, and interact with content across desktop, mobile, and web platforms.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain automated functional and regression testsCollaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage for new featuresCreate and maintain user-focused test plans for ongoing developmentInvestigate and triage failed automation tests; log and track issues in the bug tracking systemReproduce and document user-reported issues with clarity and precisionPerform end-to-end testing of interactive applications across desktop platformsIdentify and document bugs in complex workflows across multiple environmentsContribute to short sprint cycles (2–4 weeks) and support the full software development lifecycleStay current with best practices and tools in test automation and quality engineeringShare updates on new testing capabilities and advocate for quality across the teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing effortsPerform manual black-box testing as neededMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience3-5 years of experience in software quality assuranceHands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or PlaywrightProficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and familiarity with C++ and AWSStrong understanding of QA methodologies, automation strategies, and reportingExperience testing complex, interactive applications across desktop, mobile, and webProven ability to build and maintain test plans for evolving feature setsCuriosity and adaptability to learn new technologies and domains quicklyEmpathy for users and a strong sense of product ownershipPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with design or engineering workflowsExperience testing content management systems or platform-level servicesBackground in tools or applications that support structured data, search, or visualizationUnderstanding of scalable architecture and cross-platform testing strategiesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
