Job Requisition ID #25WD93301Position OverviewAs we transition from a world of files to that of products powered by cloud data services, we’re building our core underlying cloud fabric and kernel that is comprised of massively scalable, always-on, globally deployed cloud services that underpin our customer facing systems. In order to provide a seamless cloud data experience for our customers we’re building a platform that bridges existing products and solutions with our cloud data platform.We are seeking a highly proficient principal software engineer to help in building our data interoperability platform. The successful candidate should have a strong sense of ownership and be able to drive projects through completion. They should be well versed in building customer-facing products, scalable cloud-based solutions, and developer-centric APIs and components.ResponsibilitiesEngage in technical and architectural discussions and decision making to shape the future of making thingsLead planning, design, development, and testing of key features/functions delivered via applications and servicesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towards a cohesive technical strategyBuild strategic partnerships with key cross-organizational teams to ensure that your application/service leverages capabilities offered by the platformUphold team standards by championing engineering best practicesHands on software development for products that will perform at scale, be supportable, and be extensibleWrite code that is tested, readable, and maintainablePerform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvementsAutomate processes where possible and create new technologies when neededCrosstrain and mentor teammatesParticipate in on-call rotation to support production systemsMinimum QualificationsGreat team player with about 8 to 12 years of total industry experience8+ years of software development with all-round experience in all aspects of product development, but with deeper expertise on frontend technologies such as React, Vite, Tauri, etc.Deep understanding of concurrent programming, multi-threading and optimizing processing of large datasetsExperience designing and implementing APIs used by multiple consumersWorking knowledge of build automation and CI/CD pipelinesPreferred QualificationsExperience using AWS technologiesExperience with building services or components in languages such as C# or JavaExperience with CAD, 3D and 2D GeometryExperience building and developing software for AEC and Manufacturing industriesExperience leading and delivering community-driven libraries/SDKs or applications#LI-SJ1 Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
