Job Requisition ID #25WD93103Position OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for event management and execution with the goal of deepening relationships and building trust with senior customer decision makers. From conception to success tracking, you will be responsible for ensuring events/engagements deliver a memorable conversation and exceptional experience. Events may be in-person or virtual, host or third party, and be of multiple formats including roundtables, hospitality experiences, but also supporting executive summits and more. Strong partnership with Autodesk Senior Executives, Sales, Account Based Marketing and Content teams to activate strategy in line with both marketing and sales objectives is a must.The ideal candidate will have excellent event strategy, collaboration, communication, storytelling and budget management skills. They should be a self-starter who has demonstrated strong prioritization and project management skills and can navigate complex organizations. They should be highly energetic, adaptable, and have a proven track record of executing at a high level in fast-paced environments – all while interfacing with leadership teams and all levels at the company. Job ResponsibilitiesBuild high value experiences for selected clients and their top executives, with a focus on marketing engagement measurement, optimization and operational excellence.Drive innovative in-person experiences with focus on building relationships on executive level.Develop and manage work back plan and cross-functional timelines, detailed project plans, and workstream requirements, act as the source of truth for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Lead and manage strategy and execution/logistics including budgeting and financial management, venue, agency, calendaring/scheduling, speaker prep, contracts, vendors, deliverables tracking, delighters, food and beverage, etc.Drive all cross-functional project workstreams to successful execution, track cross-functional deliverables and escalate when necessary.Develop and foster stakeholder trust by initiating and nurturing partnerships and delivering consistent subject matter expertise.Effectively manage resources and priorities to deliver against competing projects. Identify and problem solve resourcing risks.Optimize the event infrastructure by designing and strengthening operational, analytical, and financial processes, in partnership with the Sr. Manager, Global Executive Engagement Programs. Demonstrate measurable business impact based on the goals outlined for each experience. Use post-event data to inform recommendations for future events.Required QualificationsFive or more years of experience in end-to-end event project management or MarketingStrong project and program management experience with emphasis on setting goals, budgets, and timelines, mitigating risks, and managing delivery through multiple partners and dependencies.Deep knowledge around event program management tactics, including development of workback plans and timelines, budgets, briefs, end-to-end project plans, etc.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceAbility to travel up to 50% globally and potentially on weekendsIdeal Candidate: Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partnersExperience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic business partners with global footprintAbility to drive collaborative teams to timely, data-driven, thoughtful decisions.Proven expertise in leading complex, global programs, often with several global (virtual) stakeholders.Understanding of digital and virtual event technologies and tools that enable effective event management, attendee registration, content delivery, exhibit management, mobile experience, and managing timelines and budgets.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using data to assess the event performance and objectively recognizing improvement opportunities. Proven ability to drive informed, data-based decisions.Experience with maximizing ROI, driving continuous improvements of tools and processes, raising the bar on the level of executive customer experience, and amplifying business impact for the company.Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, ability to bring strategic objectives to life through event experiences.Ability to interface effectively with and influence all levels of management and functional disciplines – in particular senior leadership Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment and influence outcomes at all levels of the organization.Ability to demonstrate how events align with and make an impact on Autodesk business Excellent written and oral communication skills.Must thrive in an environment of rapid change, moving targets, and cross-functional dependencies.#LI-JT1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
