If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:About the Role:Broadcom is seeking an experienced AI Operator to integrate commercial AI tools and agents into our existing VLSI (Very Large-Scale Integration) frontend and backend design flows. Monitor and maintain AI systems: Ensure AI systems are running smoothly and efficiently Integrate AI into workflows: Responsible for embedding AI tools into daily operations across the organization to ensure they deliver measurable valueCoordinate AI agents: In a higher-level system, coordinate multiple AI agents to achieve an overarching process control Optimize performance: Analyze key performance indicators, adjust parameters in real-time, and optimize resource usage to improve performance You will join a worldwide R&D team dedicated to developing high-performance ASICs for Artificial Intelligence (AI), networking, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and 5G base stations. This role is key to dramatically improving design productivity across the organization.Responsibilities:Quickly analyze existing VLSI design systems and methodologies to identify opportunities for AI integration and productivity improvementDevelop and deploy commercial AI tools to enhance productivity within established design flowsDesign and implement enhancements based on users feedback, without requiring ground-up rebuilds of existing infrastructureEvaluate and compare commercial AI solutions to select the best-fit technology for specific design flow challengesSelect, clean, and preprocess data fed into commercial AI tools to ensure optimum output qualityCreate and refine AI agents to improve the Quality of Results (QoR) from AI-generated outputsDeploy AI agents to resolve common tool errors, minimizing human intervention and downtimeDevelop intelligent chatbots to enable engineers to quickly access critical information and knowledge needed to complete their tasksConduct training for end-users on AI-enhanced flows and establish best practices for maximizing productivity gainsProficiency integrating external tools for use with Large Language Model (LLM) agents and the MCP protocolExperience integrating LLM models into existing tools/programming languages.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical fieldExperience: 8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML system development and deploymentMindset: Proven ability to create pragmatic solutions that enable the end goal of "first-time right silicon on a predictable schedule."Collaboration: Strong self-management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to cooperate and communicate effectively across a world-wide, multi-time zone team, including internal colleagues and external vendorsLean Approach: A clear understanding and application of the principle that "perfect is the enemy of good" in development and deployment cyclesPreferred/Desirable:Experience with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools from vendors such as Cadence, Siemens, or Synopsys.This job requires working on-site at the Broadcom office, 5-days a week.
