Job Requisition ID #25WD93149Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our agile development team building the next generation of our Customer Identity Access Management Platform. As a senior member of our team, you'll play a key role in developing foundational services that power 150+ Autodesk desktop, mobile, web applications, and cloud services, while supporting a growing third-party developer ecosystem. Our platform handles user authentication, authorization, profiles, and entitlements for millions of customers daily, making it a critical business enabler for Autodesk's success. You'll work with cutting-edge AWS technologies to architect and build scalable, high-performance identity services that set the foundation for Autodesk's future.ResponsibilitiesWork effectively within a self-organized agile team that builds, owns, and operates production servicesLead and contribute to all aspects of service development, including front-end, back-end, DevOps, and quality assuranceParticipate in and improve service operations including monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshootingCollaborate with architects and product management to understand requirements and deliver elegant, scalable implementationsIdentify and drive continuous improvements to system scalability, reliability, usability, and security based on production behaviorDebug and resolve complex technical issues spanning multiple system componentsAct as an advocate for the service within the organization, helping product teams with integration and adoptionMinimum QualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field5+ years of experience building cloud-native RESTful web services and applicationsExpert-level proficiency in Go, C#, or JavaStrong experience with both relational and non-relational data storesProven track record of building high-performance, highly available services at internet scaleSolid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principlesStrong commitment to code quality, security, and performanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages, tools, and design patternsProblem-solving mindset with qualities including innovation, adaptability, inclusiveness, accountability, and pragmatismPreferred QualificationsExperience with OIDC, OAuth2, and related API authorization protocolsHands-on experience with agile development methodologiesExperience with AWS services and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptExperience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives#LI-PW1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
