This role involves leading teams of AI engineers to develop cutting-edge agentic AI and machine learning projects aimed at enhancing AutoCAD and Infrastructure products, such as Civil3D. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in AI and ML, and a proven track record of driving innovation within the field. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the AI technical strategy for the AIR org, aligning it with Autodesk’s broader technical goals and business objectivesTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing AI teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to deliver state-of-the-art solutionsProject Management: Oversee the development and execution of AI and machine learning projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with product requirementsInnovation and Development: Drive the research and development of new AI technologies and their application within AutoCAD and Infrastructure products like Civil3DCollaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and design, to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into our product offeringsStakeholder Engagement: Communicate technical strategies, progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders across the organizationQuality Standards: Ensure the highest quality standards in AI and ML model development, testing, and deploymentThought Leadership: Represent Autodesk at industry conferences, workshops, and within professional networks to stay at the forefront of advancements in AI/ML technology Minimum QualificationsEducational Background: Major in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related fieldExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership positionTechnical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks, and tools, with experience in developing AI solutions for software productsIndustry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the needs and challenges within the infrastructure and reality capture domainsLeadership: Proven experience in leading and scaling high-performing AI/ML teamsCollaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsCommunication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audienceProblem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutionsVisionary: Ability to think strategically about the future of AI and its application in the design and infrastructure industriesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
