We are seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to administrator, manage, and optimize our GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Enterprise Server environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in GitHub Administration or Application Administration and possess a robust continuous learning mindset. ResponsibilitiesApplication Support: Provide Level 3 support and troubleshoot enterprise applications both in our data center and in the cloudMaintenance & Upgrades: Perform regular application upgrades and maintenanceDeveloper Support: Support a large developer base efficiently and effectivelySecurity & Compliance: Facilitate audit controls and ensure application security measuresAPI Integrations: Troubleshoot and manage integrations utilizing APIs and SDKsCollaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to build and troubleshoot integrationsReliability: Ensure high reliability and uptime of applicationsOn-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotations to provide production supportAvailability: Be available to perform system maintenance occasionally on evenings or weekendsMinimum Qualifications Experience: 3-5+ years of experience supporting source control tools for internal engineersLinux Administration: 3-5+ years of experience with Linux system administrationSystem Logs: Ability to read and debug Linux system logsGit Expertise: Hands-on experience using Git and troubleshooting common Git errorsVirtual Machines & Cloud: Familiarity with production-level virtual machines and cloud environmentsAPI Interaction: Experience interacting with APIs via tools like curlPreferred QualificationsGitHub Expertise: Experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Enterprise Server, or Artifactory AdministrationProgramming: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Node.jsGitHub Features: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitHub Integrations, and Artifactory & Artifactory XRay featuresKubernetes: Experience with KubernetesMonitoring Tools: Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk or DynatraceCode Quality: Familiarity with feature flags and code quality toolsInfrastructure as Code: Experience with Infrastructure as Code practicesCertifications: GitHub or DevOps certifications are a plusThe Ideal CandidateProblem-Solving: Strong ability to tackle ambiguous problems and think abstractlyInterpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborationAdaptability: Strong adaptability to changing requirements and projectsGrowth Mindset: A commitment to continuous learning and professional growthMethodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologiesLanguage Proficiency: Proficiency in spoken and written EnglishLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $91,800 and $158,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
