Echodyne is seeking a Senior Analog & Mixed Signal Engineer to join our fast-growing team.  RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will lead the maturation and sustainment of Analog and Digital/Mixed-Signal (AMS) subsystems for advanced radar systems, ensuring technical excellence and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration. You will own design, verification, transition to manufacturing, and long-term sustainment of RF subsystems, serving as the primary technical point of contact for all related engineering activities. This includes driving design-shaping discussions and technical reviews with multidisciplinary teams—such as Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing—to develop robust radar architectures, resolve complex technical challenges, and align work with program objectives and Design for Excellence (DFX) principles. You will provide deep technical expertise in AMS circuit design, simulation, and analysis to guide design execution, verification planning, and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will define and architect production test strategies and supporting infrastructure to enable efficient, reliable manufacturing and quality assurance. Throughout the product lifecycle, you will lead root-cause investigations, trade studies, and continuous improvement initiatives to sustain and enhance subsystem performance. Other related tasks required to fulfill the needs of the business REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Education & Experience MSEE with 5 or more years of industry experience, or BSEE with 7 or more years of experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design Analog & Mixed-Signal Circuit Design Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit theory and hands-on experience developing high-reliability commercial or consumer products Deep understanding of core analog and digital building blocks including operational amplifiers, logic gates, clock buffers, level shifters, power management ICs, current mirrors, charge pumps, oscillators, and voltage regulators Skilled in circuit design and simulation using tools such as Altium Designer (or equivalent) and SPICE Hands-on experience in board bring-up, Acceptance Testing, and Design Verification of PCBs, ensuring seamless transitions from prototype to production Experience designing conductively cooled electronics and applying thermal management techniques for high-performance systems Expertise in component selection and layout optimization, balancing efficiency, thermal performance, and signal integrity Practical experience applying principles of Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, and Test to improve product quality, testability and yield throughout the design lifecycle Mixed-Signal Interfaces & High-Speed Design Strong knowledge of mixed-signal communication protocols used in both primary and peripheral systems.
