We are committed to working hard, having fun while maintaining a culture of work-life balance.About the RoleCorporate Accounting department is looking for highly motivated staff accountant to join a collaborative and growing team. This position will report to Accounting Manager. Through the involvement in various operational activities and monthly close procedures, this position will play a pivotal role in the accounting processes.Responsibilities of the positionSupport month end close processesCompile and analyze information to prepare journal entries in compliance with GAAPPrepare monthly expense accrual calculations relating to accruals for goods and services received but not invoicedPerform month-end ledger account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances in ledger accountsProcess operational transactions with high level of accuracy – including but not limited to business accruals, bank reconciliation, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and leasesCollaborate with various departments, including Treasury, FP&A, Payroll, Facilities and Accounts Payable teams for proper recording of transactionsAssist in balance sheet and income statement flux analysis after period end closeSupport SOX compliance efforts and assist in improvement of control proceduresAssist with audits, including preparing work papers for the auditors and analyzing data.
