Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.  Role Summary The Senior EDI Analyst is a key role on the Product Management team within the Supply Chain & Logistics group at Rivian.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EDI, (Electronic Data Interchange) logistics processes, and the ability to manage and implement EDI solutions technical solutions. Responsibilities Works directly with business partners to obtain requirements, perform detailed analysis, communicate requirements to internal functional team for development and is the focal point for communicating status/implementation progress to all parties involved. Implement mapping changes and vendor profile setups in collaboration with Business and EDI Service Provider. Monitor EDI transactions, integration failures and resolve issues in a timely manner. Design, implement, and maintain EDI maps, guidelines and specifications Ensure EDI compliance with industry standards and customer requirements Stay current with industry and technology trends and make recommendations for improvements Facilitate end to end testing for EDI projects SIT, UAT and Post Go Live. Implement and maintain EDI systems for international trade processes such as customs clearance, freight forwarding, and shipping.   Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field, Master’s degree preferred 3+ years of experience in EDI and logistics operations, 5+ years experience preferred Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, etc.) Knowledge of EDI software and tools (e.g.Sterling, etc.) Knowledge of EDI transportation transaction sets (204, 214, 310, 315, 990 997, etc.) Proficient with Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel Experience with JIRA, Confluence and/or other project management and documentation tools Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of structured data such as XML/JSON Working or practical knowledge of automotive manufacturing, global supply chain and logistics for US-domestic as well as Europe & International markets is preferred Exposure to business applications such as TMS is preferred Must be willing to travel up to 20% Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
