Join us! About the Role:  We are seeking an Accounting Manager to modernize and optimize BlinkRx’s accounting operations by integrating and automating key financial processes across the business. They will improve system connectivity, particularly with Workday, and drive scalable, technology-enabled solutions. This role will oversee Accounts Receivable and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes across multiple segments, managing invoicing, driving collections and leading transformation activities surrounding the O2C process. Reporting to the Corporate Controller and Assistant Controller, this leader will combine deep accounting expertise with a strong understanding of financial systems and project management. This role will help to enhance accuracy and strengthen financial reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will serve as both a hands-on project manager and a key driver of transformation, partnering cross-functionally to deliver sustainable process and systems transformation within the accounting organization, and support BlinkRx’s continued growth. The position requires an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. The individual in this position must be an organized self-starter, a dedicated team player, have a sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates working East Coast hours. What You’ll Do: Order-to-Cash & Accounts Receivable Oversee the customer invoicing, aging, and collections processes across all business segments. Lead automation and process improvements to streamline invoicing workflows and strengthen cash management. Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all O2C activities. Process Transformation & Automation Identify opportunities to automate and simplify accounting and close processes. Map current workflows, analyze process gaps, and design efficient, standardized future-state solutions. Lead initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve data integrity, and enhance scalability across financial operations. Partner with IT and process owners to implement automation tools (e.g., Workday or related systems). Workday Optimization & Systems Integration Serve as the functional lead for Workday Accounting, optimizing configurations, integrations, and reporting. Improve data flow between Workday and other systems (ERP, subledgers, banking, and reporting tools). Lead testing, validation, and deployment of Workday enhancements and integrations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Project & Change Management Act as project manager for accounting transformation initiatives from design through implementation. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and success metrics to ensure delivery within scope. Communicate project progress, risks, and impact to stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Leadership. Drive adoption of new tools and processes through effective change management and training. Continuous Improvement & Governance Establish process ownership and control frameworks for newly implemented workflows. Implement best practices in accounting automation, reconciliation, and close optimization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through documentation, metrics, and feedback loops. What You’ll Need:   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance transformation, or financial systems. Strong technical understanding of Workday Financials or similar ERP platforms. Proven experience leading accounting process automation and systems integration projects. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and core accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, consolidations). Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to drive change management and apply analytical problem solving. Preferred Qualifications CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred. Big 4 accounting experience strongly preferred. Experience working in late-stage start-up or high-growth environments. Familiarity with process automation tools and global accounting transformation. Strong background in process optimization and cross-functional leadership.
