If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!The Forma Data Management team (formerly Docs) in Autodesk AEC Construction R&D is seeking a talented and highly motivated senior developer to join its development team and work on cloud services and products for its global customers. You will be part of a dynamic software development team, collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality cloud services that help customers transform to a cloud-powered Autodesk experience.ResponsibilitiesInvolved in the full life cycle of software developmentWork with the scrum team members to accomplish requirements from product managers and customersDesign and develop highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidanceEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problemsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automationAbility to span to full stack development whenever necessaryWrite and maintain code with high attention to detail, perform peer code-reviews, and participate in technical design discussionsShare and bring best practices into the team/product; promote best practices/achievements to the engineering communityMinimum Qualifications5+ years of software development experienceMaster’s/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalentGood knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programmingSolid understanding of typical web architecture (data, application, web tiers, etc.)Hands-on experience in Java backend programmingHands-on experience with relational database technologies (e.g., Postgres)Hands-on experience in developing RESTful web services and integrating the same with heterogeneous clientsGood understanding of cloud service technologiesExperience in the development of large-scale software is a plusExperience in distributed cloud and high concurrency design is a plusCloud service monitoring tool experienceAbility to work with a team in an Agile environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in using AWS servicesExperience with database technologiesStrong problem-solving skills and capability to work on complex systemsFamiliarity with Linux/CentOSAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
