Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.  Role Summary In this position, you will provide liaison between EPC (Electric Power Conversion), Product Development ,and Manufacturing Engineering for motor production lines involving rotor, stator, and general motor assembly to ensure constant communication. You will support resolving issues from the Motor production lines with manufacturing team. Responsibilities Troubleshoot issues with Testing that occurs during manufacturing and issues on Motor production lines along with the manufacturing team Responsible to resolve product design related issues by working with DREs Represent EPC Product Engineering in decision making on part deviation and non-conformance issues Provide daily build status and captured issues from the production line Participate in Problem Issue and Resolution Meetings Work with engineering quality team to implement quality assurance check points for prototype and production builds Spend time in Carson, California with EPC Product Engineering to gain knowledge about the product before residing at the Normal, Illinois manufacturing plant Qualifications BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Minimum 5 years of increasing responsibility at a manufacturing plant or product development, preferred 7 years Experience in prototype builds or product launch Proficient with 3D CAD CATIA software Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment, specifically electric motors desired Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills Strong emotional resilience and have a "can-do" approach to problem solving Must be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to achieve results with minimal supervision and direction.
