We also consider for employment all qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with applicable law.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy AI agents and product AI featuresHands on MCP tools to integrate AI solutions into product workflowsCollaborate with the AI Platform team to leverage shared infrastructure, tools, and servicesExperiment with large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-modal AI techniques to build intelligent applicationsDevelop prototypes to validate ideas and drive them into production-ready solutionsDocument findings, share best practices, and contribute to AI knowledge sharing across other groupsEnsure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI features in production.Own full engineering cycle including designing, prototyping, coding, validating, deployment, and troubleshootingEstablish strong partnership and collaborate effectively with engineering teams worldwide with concise communication, strong commitment and win-win mindsetDevelop tools to boost development like automated testing, performance monitoring, resiliency analysis, etcShare and bring best practice into the team/product; promote best practice/achievement to engineering communityLeading technical discussion and design cross global teamsMentoring and leading junior members to contribute on project goalsMinimum QualificationsBachelor in Computer Engineering with 8+ years working experience or equivalent MSRequire excellent experience in AI such as AI agent, MCP, LLMExcellent programing skills with Python, JavaRich AI system design experienceExcellent analytical capability and fast-learning abilityExcellent knowledge about AWS services or similar core services from other providersGood leadership, communication and teamworkComprehensive technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, implementation, automation tests and deploymentFluent English communicationPreferred QualificationsExperience in data scientist is a plusSuccessfully completed one or more commercial AI software development cycles is a plusAdvanced expert role, requiring deep subject-matter knowledge and sound business acumen to advise leadersFor jobs at this level, knowledge of the business starts to become as important as subject-matter knowledgeIncumbents translate specialized subject-matter requirements into business needs/requirementsRequire depth of specialized expertise to interpret internal/external business issues and recommend best practices to address themSolve complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors by taking a broad perspective to identify the best approach and innovative solutionsWork independently, with close guidance in only the most complex or unusual situationsAdapt communication style to persuade various stakeholders across the business and frequently interact with senior leaders to provide advice and SMEMay lead functional teams or programs within own function (or closely related functions)Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
