Alongside technical growth, you’ll develop soft skills and build connections with other interns, locally in your office, regionally across EMEA, and globally, through programs designed just for interns.As a Software Engineer Intern on the Fusion team, you’ll work alongside an Agile Scrum team of experienced developers, tackling real engineering challenges. Whether you’re coding algorithms in C++, building web features in TypeScript, or exploring AI-driven tools, you’ll gain mentorship, guidance, and the autonomy to make a meaningful impact.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with an Agile Scrum team to deliver real product features in FusionContribute to substantial production codebases and industry-recognised toolsGain hands-on experience with C++, TypeScript, and modern software development practicesApply Agile and Scrum practices, building your teamwork and project management skillsUse source control and Continuous Integration platforms such as GitHub and JenkinsExplore emerging technologies such as AI-driven toolsShare your progress and achievements in team meetings, gaining feedback and recognitionMinimum QualificationsPenultimate or final year student of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or Engineering within the EMEA region. Please state your expected graduation month and year in your applicationPredicted 1st or 2:1 degree (or equivalent)Programming experience (industrial, curricular, or extracurricular), ideally using a C-style language (e.g. C, C++, Java, C#)Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solvingThe Ideal CandidateWe welcome applications from students with either a maths/physics or computer science background.
