We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.The Job At-A-Glance:Q2 is seeking a Business Consultant to work closely with Implementation Engineers, Project Managers, and Client Project teams to achieve successful configuration and deployment of Q2’s Risk & Fraud Management Software Solutions, primarily Positive Pay. This individual will provide subject matter expertise as a member of a multiple concurring Q2 implementation project teams, reporting to an Implementations Delivery Manager. You will develop and deliver best practices in both technical and non-technical/business aspects of a project. The Business Consultant evaluates and executes upon any deficits in execution detail so that both the client and Q2 teams meet and exceed delivery expectations. Typically involves interaction with sales, hosting, product, development, and other members of cross-functional teams. May communicate in various forms to Q2 and Client, including Executive level staff. These types of communication can include emails, presentations, formal and informal ad hoc meetings, ranging from consultative recommendations, setting expectations, developing requirements and participating in troubleshooting.A Typical Day:Acts as subject matter expert in Centrix product features and functionality Analyses customer’s business and makes recommendationsDevelop and deliver best practices and proper product implementation executionAssesses project risks and builds mitigating strategiesActs as a liaison and manages expectations related to timing, functionality and back-office requirements needed to support a successful go liveWorks with Product and Engineering to ensure suggested solutions are feasible, assists with building requirements and solution design where applicableGuides other Implementation resources in areas of product expertise, case resolution, client communication and process improvementLeads case management and timely issue resolution by facilitating case reviewsResponsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered toHelps to oversees testing and case resolutionBring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologiesKnowledge of effective business requirements practices and support methodologiesStrong written and oral communication skills, excellent people and teamwork skillsAbility to convey technical concepts to business-oriented banking project teams, including Senior Management, and interact with technical internal resources Remains calm, diplomatic and cooperative under stressful conditionsAttention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPromotes a strong sense of urgency and enthusiasm for reaching goals and meeting deadlinesPassion for improving processes and a commitment to customer satisfactionFinancial Services and enterprise software experience preferredAbility to travel up to 30% of the timeThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
