As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll help advance our mission to improve developer productivity, ensure cross-platform device independence, and deliver a consistent, scalable software platform.ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on user interface and client-facing components for Fusion 360, as well as underlying logic. You’ll gain mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to a supportive, collaborative, and diverse team, building skills to become a productive and impactful contributor.You will:Participate in technical design and code reviews.Design, implement, test, and maintain infrastructure components and user-facing features based on stakeholder requirements.Collaborate with a team of software engineers, QA engineers, and designers in Toronto and other worldwide engineering sites.Develop estimates for tasks and evaluate risks and dependencies to aid in planning.Receive mentorship and coaching from seasoned engineers.Minimum QualificationsPursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experiencePrior internship experience (preferably 1 or 2 terms of experience)Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with web-based technologies and constructsCommitment to learning and self-development in both technical and non-technical skillsAbility to work effectively in a team to achieve team goalsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, and ReduxFamiliarity with Agile methodologyKnowledge of unit testing and automated testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)Basic understanding of CI/CD using Jenkins and GitExperience in C++ and TypescriptInterest in AI technologiesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
