Job Requisition ID #25WD91300Position OverviewThis position is for a software engineer to join a data service/management team serving Autodesk mainframe products.The team is responsible for designing/implementing/deploying critical material related components/services for fulfilling the requirements of the product independently or by collaborating with other teams of Forge Group or Autodesk products.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, debug, and document new and existing software featuresWork with product manager and product owners to interpret and translate business needs to technical requirementsEnsure high quality software is delivered by following engineering practices like peer code reviews, code standards, and unit testingApply extensive technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problemsQualifications BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent domain0-2 year of work experienceStrong development proficiency in C++, programming skillsProficiency in software development tools and version control systems.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Experience with CAD software usage or development is a plusPreferred QualificationsWork experience in QT, Jenkins, Python is a plusWork experience in web technologies like React, JavaScript, Java is a plusRequire basic knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts within a specific discipline – typically gained through formal education or equivalent trainingPerform routine, defined assignments with direct guidance and oversight from others with more experienceLearn to use professional concepts in practical situations through completion of work assignments and trainingTake an active role in learning and becoming familiar with the discipline and broader team environmentTypically seek guidance on problems as they arise, and adapt to solve problems encountered previously#LI-AA1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
