As Principal Product Manager for nCino's Commercial Onboarding and Account Opening solution, you'll drive strategic product decisions for this critical customer acquisition process. Beyond managing features, you'll define how banks can revolutionize their customer acquisition process - turning what's traditionally a weeks-long, paper-heavy experience into a streamlined digital journey that delights business customers while reducing operational costs.As a banking industry thought leader, you'll own the complete roadmap for commercial onboarding solutions and identify the highest-impact opportunities to modernize how banks acquire new business customers. This means conducting executive-level conversations with bank leadership, challenging engineering approaches to ensure competitive advantage, and playing a key role in sales cycles with C-suite banking executives. You'll balance cutting-edge product innovation with banking regulations and compliance requirements, develop comprehensive launch strategies that drive market adoption, and serve as the primary voice for how commercial onboarding connects to the broader customer relationship lifecycle across all organizational levels. While initially focused on United States banking requirements, you'll need to think globally as the solution scales to support our international clients and their diverse regulatory environments. Essential Functions Ideate - Own the roadmap. Identify next highest priority problems to solve. Influence the company towards a strategic direction based on your knowledge and expertiseValidate the roadmap with customers. Take output from junior product team members' research to advance the planningPlan - Represent Product vision and VOC for your feature/feature set in planning sessions with Design and Architecture/Eng. Be knowledgeable enough to challenge the approach and ensure the best approach is being pursuedBuild - Be involved in key milestones. Major stakeholder in sprint reviews and weekly demosLaunch - Lead customer-facing Early Adopter conversations. Develop strategic launch plan with cross-functional teamGrow - Help junior product team members' interpret success metrics, work with customer awarenessnCino Product Knowledge - As the owner of your feature/feature set you should be able to lead conversations with customers in all segments about the value of your feature(s) in how they solve business problems as well as the vision and roadmap for the overall experience this feature connects to and how that will further add value to our customers. This will include objection handling through your deep knowledge of how other customers use the feature or have adjusted their business process to gain value. You understand how and why our solution is best-in-class (or how is measures up to competitors)Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of related experience/proficiency or a combination of education and experienceExperience in presenting to multiple layers of a company, including executivesStrong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologies.Experience being involved in the sales cycle and conducting customer interviewsOutstanding written and oral communication skillsProven ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environmentDemonstrable ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirementsTravel Requirements - <10%Desired Advanced knowledge of Agile principlesAdvanced knowledge of the commercial, small business banking, treasury, consumer space in relation to both processes and regulationsExperience with loan origination software/technology If you thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment, we invite you to share your passion, ideas and excitement at nCino. The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement.
