We build for perfection, use the most modern tools on Microsoft .NET platform, have an amazing culture, and love to solve complex problems.What you'll do: Improve our automation coverage by working closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers on test planning and building automated test cases.Work closely with developers to understand the product architecture while identifying, designing, or enhancing existing test automation plansCreate comprehensive test strategies that cover various scenarios, including functional, performance, and security testing, and execute test cases manually and automatically to ensure comprehensive test coverageImplement and execute automated tests using tools such as Cypress, Jest, XUnit, or similar testing frameworks.Collaborate with developers to establish unit and integration test strategies.Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and deployment.Monitor test results, analyze failures, and work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues and closureContinuously evaluate and improve testing tools, processes, and methodologiesMust be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance and be able to handle periods of uncertainty and ambiguity; detail-orientation is a mustFacilitate ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting methods are effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated, and integratedDefect tracking and issue status reportingWhat you’ll bring:5+ years hands-on software quality assurance testing experience, preferably with web and mobile applications in the software development industry5+ years of in-depth experience developing test automation for business objects and entities independent of any available user interface.5+ years of hands-on experience in Automated Tests5+ years of experience with C# or other language (Java,Python, etc.)Capability to think & contribute from the framework perspective considering effects of changes & upgradesHabit of writing clean, re-usable & parameterized code for Tests, ensuring coverageGood knowledge of SQL (P-SQL and/or MS-SQL preferred)Experience with code deployments and version control systems (GIT)Experience with creating automation on projects which integrate with third party APIs is preferredExperience with Continuous Integration and familiarity with Continuous Deployment tool such as Teamcity, Jenkins, or GitHub ActionsAbility to rapidly learn third party development / QA tools is preferredAble to multi-task, triage issues, react well to changes, work independently in a fast paced environmentMust be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a mustBe Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in Canada is between $103,400 CAD - $155,200 CAD. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
