Lab Maintenance Technician

Learn more about our mission, vision and values .   We are looking for a  Lab Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Kinneret site. You will be responsible for maintaining, operating, and upgrading the communication lab infrastructure, including network equipment, operating systems, virtualization environments, and radio systems. This is a hands-on technical role ensuring high availability of lab resources, accurate documentation, and direct technical support to development and testing teams—both locally and globally. What you will do: Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment (switches, routers, and other network devices). Build and maintain communication and radio-based setups. Independently install and manage operating systems (Windows, Linux) within the lab environment — without dependency on IT Support. Set up and manage virtualization environments (VMware, VirtualBox, KVM, etc.). Operate and maintain radio and measurement systems. Maintain accurate inventory of all lab equipment, tools, and components. Troubleshot hardware and software issues in the l ab document configurations, procedures, and changes. collaborate with peer engineering teams across multiple geographies and provide active support aligned with the project work required hours. What you should have: Knowledge and experience with switches and routers (configuration, management, troubleshooting). Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, experience in setting up and managing virtualized enviroments. Understanding of radio and wireless communication systems. Experience building and maintaining communication/radio setups. Fast learning ability, organizational skills, and attention to details. Good command of technical English – mandatory. Nice to have: Knowledge of Python programming. Knowledge of cellular systems and technologies.
