Edelman is seeking an experienced, visionary Managing Director to lead its operations in Vietnam, driving integrated communications strategies with excellence, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to client partnership. As Managing Director, you will shape the direction and growth of Edelman Vietnam by fostering a high-performance culture, advancing strategic client engagements, and championing a multidisciplinary approach that delivers measurable impact. You’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and a business operator, steering cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.   Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, delivering integrated solutions that drive business impact while representing Edelman’s standard of strategic excellence. Client Partnership: Cultivate and deepen client relationships, acting as a true partner in solving complex challenges and delivering enduring value. Integrated Team Building: Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams that embody collaboration, accountability, and shared purpose. Operational Excellence: Drive the delivery of best-in-class work through rigorous quality control, effective project management, and client satisfaction. People & Culture Champion: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering an inclusive, empowering, and values-driven workplace. Financial Stewardship: Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitable growth, risk management, and value creation for clients and Edelman. Vision & Innovation: Set and communicate a bold vision for Edelman Vietnam, inspiring innovation, ethical leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit. Compliance & Ethics: Lead by example in upholding compliance, governance, and Edelman’s core values of excellence, courage, inclusion, and integrity. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 18 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields. Proven experience managing large-scale client accounts with budgets exceeding USD 500K. Demonstrated leadership in managing and motivating large, multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments. Exceptional executive presence with the ability to advise, influence, and engage senior clients and internal stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a strong orientation toward results, innovation, and operational discipline. Strong data fluency: ability to interpret and leverage analytics across earned, owned, and paid platforms to drive decision-making. Digitally fluent with a solid understanding of digital transformation and the evolving media landscape.
