Te Tūranga – About the role As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work within the Supply Chain Strategy & Development team. We mix technical data skills with critical thinking to ensure and improve future capacity, capability and end-to-end supply chain performance. Every day will be different, but will typically involve extracting data, collaborative analysis to answer questions, deliver insights, or provide recommendations. He kōrero mōu - About you We're looking for a natural problem-solver who is passionate about turning complex data into strategic assets. Keys to your success will include: · A strong academic foundation in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering) requiring analytics and optimisation · 2+ years of hands-on experience building and interrogating large, complex datasets using advanced SQL (we use BigQuery) and a scripting language like Python · Proven skill in translating complex analytical findings into clear, intuitive visualisations and narratives using BI tools (like Power BI, Looker, even Streamlit) and spreadsheets, tailored for audiences at all levels · Experience partnering with stakeholders to define problems, challenge assumptions, and translate ambiguous questions into clear analytical frameworks · A highly analytical and curious mindset, with the confidence to constructively challenge the status quo and find a better way · Working knowledge and everyday use of modern AI tools (like Gemini, Copilot) to accelerate your analytical workflow · Experience with supply chain systems is a bonus, but your analytical horsepower and ability to learn quickly are what matter most We’re interested in your diverse experiences, your strengths and how adaptable you are to learn and grow.
