Job Requisition ID #25WD89890Position OverviewThe Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for leading and presenting all technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle. Technical Specialists partner with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to assist in the development, management, and execution of strategies and tactics for closing business. They meet with individuals at all levels within a customer’s organization to understand their issues and position solutions while discovering business opportunities for Autodesk.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-depth assessments of customer processesInvestigate, uncover, and understand the customer’s business issuesUtilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry changes to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvementCapture metrics for quantifying and justifying the customer’s return on investment (ROI) for technical closureProposed solutions and product overviews should be demonstrated and related to the customer’s business issuesProfessional presentations and demonstrations should also be developed and conducted, and sales discussions with customers should be led to generate sales of Autodesk solutionsPosition and sell Autodesk’s unique business values in competitive sales situations against other vendorsPresentations, demonstrations, and discussions may be in-person, web-based, or via different mechanismsInfluence product development and product direction through customer feedback and identify business opportunitiesDevelops long-term customer relationships and achieves customer success goalsMaintain and grow respected, trusted advisor relationships with customers and members of the Autodesk sales team involved with the opportunityWorks with sales teams that support both direct sales and reseller sales channelsPartner with sales representatives to assist in the development, management, and execution of strategies and tactics for closing businessSupport the success of Autodesk resellers by mentoring and training reseller personnel on technical sales activities and executionSupport internal sales and team learning through the creation of sales contentParticipates in company-sponsored events and tradeshows to promote Autodesk’s solutions and the customer business issues they targetMinimum Qualifications2-5 years of relevant AEC industry experienceCompetence in Revit, Civil 3D, BIM (Building information modeling), Virtual BIM Collaboration, preferred ACCLanguages: Native Portuguese, Fluent EnglishPreferred: Architecture, Engineering backgroundLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
