This pivotal role centers around ensuring the utmost reliability, availability, and performance of our database systems, particularly MySQL databases hosted in AWS Aurora and other NoSQL databases.In this role, you will:Architect, develop, and manage Cloud infrastructure alongside MySQL and NoSQL databases within high SLA environmentsEnsure robust database administration for various applications, promoting continuous operationsLead database maintenance tasks and disaster recovery strategies.Spearhead database consolidation, migration, and capacity planning effortsEnhance database performance, security, and monitoring frameworksCollaborate across functions to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and database issuesEngage in on-call rotations, providing critical 24x7 support for our production systemsYou bring:Minimum of 8 years experience in MySQL database administration or similar rolesProfound expertise in AWS cloud services and database technologies such as MySQL replication, MySQL Cluster, and AWS RDS - AuroraAdvanced skills in UNIX, Python, Shell scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormationA proactive approach to database security, performance optimization, and troubleshootingStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate in a team-oriented environmentLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
