Chief Operating Officer

The Allen County Public Library is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Operating Officer to support the continued growth and success of our 14-location library system serving Fort Wayne and Allen County, Indiana. As a key member of our executive leadership team, the COO will work in close partnership with the Executive Director to plan, evaluate, and direct the Library’s operations. This role provides comprehensive oversight of major support departments, including Public Services, Information Technology, Youth Services, and System Services. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and innovative leader with a passion for public service, a deep commitment to equity and access, and a strong track record of managing complex organizations.
