The team prides itself by optimizing processes, seamlessly integrating systems and applications, and using sophisticated technologies like RPA, AI agents, and data insights to drive efficiency and unlock new possibilities.About the RoleThe Principal Business Process Analyst plays a significant role in driving operational excellence and digital transformation by working closely with stakeholders to define, analyze, and optimize business processes. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to leverage technology, particularly automation, to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and achieve strategic business objectives. Responsibilities:Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders at all levels to understand current operational processes, pain points, and strategic goals.Lead comprehensive process analysis, mapping current-state workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing optimized future-state processes.Translate sophisticated business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable functional and technical specifications for technology solutions, with a strong emphasis on automation.Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit, document, and validate requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and technological capabilities.Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other automation tools, to achieve process objectives.Develop business cases, including quantifiable benefits (e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains, improved accuracy), to support proposed automation initiatives.Partner with IT, development teams, and external vendors throughout the solution delivery lifecycle to ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and achieve desired process improvements.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of process changes and automation solutions.Act as a subject matter expert in business process improvement methodologies and best practices.About YouRequired Qualifications:10+ years of cross-functional process architecture experience.3+ years relevant business unit expertise.Bachelor's Degree is required.Other Qualifications:Master's Degree is helpful.Strong written, visual representation, and verbal communication skills.Six Sigma certification is helpful.Experience defining, crafting, and implementing solutions to achieve desired business outcomes by evaluating, diagnosing, documenting existing business processes, developing and applying metrics for process and performance measurement.Proven ability to establish relationships, influence without authority, and drive alignment across teams with varied strengths and leadership levels.Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.Passion for customer service and commitment to delivering high-quality results.Proficient in project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Google docs, Smartsheet, etc.).Workday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
