NVIDIA DGX Cloud is a cloud-based platform that offers enterprises access to powerful DGX systems, specifically crafted for AI and deep learning workloads. To help document DGX Cloud, we're seeking an experienced technical writer with passion and drive, technical proficiency, and excellent writing and editing skills.Further, we’re seeking a candidate who can quickly form good working relationships with developers and work cross-functionally to produce great documentation that simplifies, explains, and empowers our users! This includes a mix of writing from scratch and revising draft documents supplied by developers.What you’ll be doing:Writing documentation about new software features and updating existing documents such as programming guides and application programming interface (API) referencesResearching, scoping and managing documentation projectsGathering, editing, and publishing subject-specific knowledge from subject matter experts and developersSupporting development teams and delivering high-quality technical content within a fast-paced software release scheduleContributing to internal templates and standards to build clear and reusable contentDriving the technical review processPossibly also preparing illustrations, diagrams, and chartsWhat we need to see:Experience working as a technical writer on different types of documentation, particularly API references, developer guides, and user manuals5+ years of experience writing technical documentationAbility to run sophisticated software using Linux and DockerA propensity for thinking like a developer and writing the documentation they needA talent for identifying updates and changes that will impact users and documentationThe flexibility to find whatever method works best to get close to subject matter experts and learn what they knowBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceWays to stand out from the crowd:Authoring experience with Sphinx and reStructuredTextDeep understanding of source control tools (such as Perforce and GitLab) and experience using issue trackers such as JIRA to track project tasksExperience documenting complex data center-based services and platformsUnderstanding of Deep Learning, neural networks, software frameworks for machine intelligence, and system virtualizationSoftware engineering experienceAt NVIDIA, we are inventing some of the coolest technology to empower our partners to realize their artistic side, and further our technology leadership position.
