You will work with a team of hardworking software engineers working on all aspects of SOC and system, and technology verticals. As someone who is hardworking and passionate about their craft, you will design key aspects of our SOC drivers, BSP, sophisticated triage automation, as well as collaborating with key partners and OEM customers. You should demonstrate the ability to excel in an environment with fast pace and agility.What you'll be doing:Pre silicon and Board bring up with Windows on ArmDeveloping and triaging platform drivers which goes into SOCsDeveloping Debug Tools, triage automation and isolating faulting IPs/ComponentsSupporting the OEM ecosystem and Co-Engineering to provide innovative solutionsAssist Boot KPIs, Security and OS driversSupporting many ecosystems related verticalsYou will follow the devices all the way through from pre-silicon to bring up to production, in products across different business verticals.Be heavily involved in architecture definition and early modeling, simulation required to create our groundbreaking productsMultiple opportunities to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams from all around the globeWhat we need to see:BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience5+ years of relevant software development experienceStrong understanding on ARM microarchitecture as well as understanding of ARM exception levelsHands on experience with Windows on Arm systems, Windows Debug Tools and debug methodologies Hands on experience with Pre-silicon, Silicon Bring up and stability triageGood understanding of Windows Driver Model, KMDF Architecture, ACPI and UEFIStrong C/C++ and Python programming skills as well as having shown initiative in pursuing independent coding projectsFamiliarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.)Strong Operating systems fundamentals with Kernel , Hypervisor experience on Windows systems as well as Linux systemsHands on experience on debuggers like WinDBG, T32, JTAG as well compilers like GCC, MSVC, LLVM etcWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience working on Windows on Arm Products development, IBV/ISV/IHV EcosystemsBackground and strength with sophisticated system-level debugging is invaluableExperience working on system level reliability and resiliency features.Familiarity with system level security conceptsExperience with embedded system SW concepts.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
