We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about delivering innovative solutions that solve real-world problems. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of software development web applications.Fusion Operations is a manufacturing execution system (MES), providing real-time data for production management. It enables users to monitor, track, report, and even control the various processes and systems used to manufacture goods, from raw material to shipping.Plan production schedules to enhance the flexibility of job schedulingTrack inventory, monitor workers, and oversee machines to help optimize overall production efficiencyManage product quality through production traceability to align with industry standards and regulationsResponsibilities Design, implement and maintain real-time and business critical softwareProduce clean, effective, secure, maintainable, and well-documented codeCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelinesUtilize debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficientlyDevelop and maintain automated tests and increase overall code coverageLeverage cloud technologies, including AWS services such as RDS, ElastiCache, S3, and SQS, for scalable and reliable solutionsParticipate in on-call rotation to support production systemsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field3+ years of industry experience building and delivering robust, performant, and maintainable commercial applicationsStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principlesProficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems Proficiency in frontend development such as JavaScript/HTML/CSSFamiliar with the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web servicesKnowledge of JVM (Java Virtual Machine), its drawbacks, weaknesses, and workaroundsExperience with MySQL databasesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum frameworkExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications Experience in working with Java frameworks such as Play or SpringExperience in frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or similarExperience with Elasticsearch or similarExperience with test automation tools (JUnit, Selenium, etc)Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as JenkinsBasic understanding of event-driven architecture principles#LI-MM1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
