We are looking for well-rounded backend or full stack engineers who are passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable micro-services and infrastructure for SaaS products.ResponsibilitiesDeliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java based microservices.Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements.Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing.Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.Requirements2+ years of professional software development experienceStrong Java experienceGreat communication skillsBS in Computer Science, or a related fieldProficient experience with object-oriented analysis and design skillsProficient experience with an object-oriented programming language and techniquesProficient understanding of Java Frameworks like SpringPreferredExperience with AWSExperience with Continuous DeliveryExperience instrumenting code for gathering production performance metricsExperience with database technologies include Elasticsearch / OpenSearch and SnowflakeExperience with Business Intelligence Platforms like Qlik or TableauMessaging experience with KafkaWhat success looks like in the roleWithin the first 30 days you will:Complete onboarding with HRGet their environment set upTake on some tickets, bugs. Resolving some tech debt or bugs form backlog to start; something that doesn’t require a lot of subject matter expertise.All work committed has testsComplete the ISC-specific coursesReview the body of documentation on Search and ReportingNew hire maintains availability during core business hours and effectively communicates issues ahead of time.By 60 days:Taking on more tickets and bugs.
