TechnicianDescription -We are looking for a dedicated Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support engineering operations, with a primary focus on ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of outputs while maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and optimizing engineering processes, systems, and equipment to meet production goals and output targets. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maximizing efficiency and quality in all technical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Output Optimization & Monitoring:
o Monitor and analyze engineering processes to ensure that all outputs meet defined performance and quality standards.
o Collaborate with engineers to optimize workflows, ensuring efficient use of resources and equipment to meet output goals.
o Continuously evaluate the production process to maximize throughput and minimize downtime or delays.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems or equipment that impact production outputs.
• Testing & Evaluation:
o Conduct testing on equipment, systems, and processes to ensure that outputs align with design specifications.
o Record data and performance metrics to analyze the effectiveness of engineering operations and identify areas for improvement.
o Provide feedback to engineering teams based on test results and system evaluations, focusing on enhancing output quality and efficiency.
• Maintenance & Equipment Support:
o Assist in the setup, maintenance, and repair of engineering equipment and systems to ensure continuous production and optimized outputs.
o Conduct preventive maintenance checks to avoid unplanned downtime and ensure consistent output levels.
o Work closely with engineering teams to identify improvements in equipment and system designs to enhance production outputs.
• Process Improvement & Troubleshooting:
o Identify inefficiencies and suggest engineering solutions that improve output quality and speed.
o Perform root-cause analysis on issues impacting production outputs and recommend corrective actions.
o Assist in implementing engineering changes and upgrades to improve system performance and output.
• Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of engineering activities, test results, and output data.
o Report on system performance, issues, and improvements related to engineering operations, focusing on output efficiency.
o Provide detailed reports to management about the status of engineering projects and production outputs.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
o Work closely with production, quality assurance, and other cross-functional teams to align on production schedules and output targets.
o Support engineers in the development of process and equipment specifications to meet output requirements.
o Ensure seamless coordination between engineering and other departments to prevent delays in meeting output goals.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
o Relevant certifications in Engineering Technology or a related discipline are a plus.
• Experience:
o 3+ years of experience in an engineering or technical role, with a focus on improving system or production outputs.
o Experience with troubleshooting, testing, and supporting engineering systems and equipment.
o Familiarity with engineering principles, manufacturing systems, and process optimization.
• Skills & Competencies:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving outputs.
o Proficient in using engineering tools, software, and equipment for testing and system optimization.
o Solid understanding of engineering processes and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve production efficiency.
o Excellent communication skills to report on output performance and collaborate with technical teams.
