Red Team Operator

NVIDIA's Offensive Security Team is looking for a Red Team Operator to help assess and improve the security of NVIDIA’s products, services, and infrastructure. You’ll contribute to adversarial assessments through both Red and Purple Team operations. These engagements support NVIDIA’s mission by identifying real-world risks and partnering with defenders to strengthen our security posture.What you’ll be doing:Assist with Red and Purple Team operations focused on realistic adversary simulation and exploitationHelp plan and execute assessments, contributing to domain-wide and product-specific testing effortsParticipate in open-box (collaborative) security reviews of NVIDIA technologies and platformsWork with experienced operators to develop or modify tools, scripts, and techniques to support engagement goalsDocument findings and help communicate risk clearly to engineers and stakeholdersLearn from senior team members and threat hunters through collaboration on investigations and detection tuningWhat we need to see:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5+ years in a security-focused role, ideally with experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security researchUnderstanding of common attack techniques across Windows and Linux environmentsFamiliarity with common tools (e.g., Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Burp Suite, BloodHound)Strong desire to grow and improve through mentorship and challenging assessmentsRespectful, responsible approach to offensive testing – we break things carefully and fix them fastWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience scripting or modifying tools in Python, PowerShell, or GoCertifications like OSCP or PNPTContribution to security blogs, writeups, or open-source projectsExposure to cloud (AWS/Azure), containers (Kubernetes/Docker), or enterprise IT environmentsPassion for learning new techniques, and an attitude passionate about collaboration over competitionWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
