What We're Looking For We’re looking for a versatile People & Operations Associate to support our growing startup as we continue to grow our global business, working out of our office in San Francisco. With the opportunity to work on a diverse array of areas from payroll and legal ops to workplace and culture, we’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on execution, learning new skills, and collaborating with a wide range of teams. What You'll Be Doing You’ll partner with our People, Finance, Legal, Field Ops, and Executive team members to support internal operations. Specifically, you will: Provide first line support on People related queries in Slack & email Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding Run payroll for employees in the US, UK, and Canada Manage operations (mail, supplies, etc.) for our SF office Maintain accurate company registration information with external agencies Support Legal team on tasks including basic document review and legal research Oversee planning and execution of company onsites, holiday parties, and other project management needs Draft policy and process documentation for candidates and employees Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS (Rippling), ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policy and procedures Organize files and resources for People and Legal teams Book flights and accommodations for executive travel   What You'll Need to Be Successful You’d be a good fit for this role if you have: 5+ years of experience in an operations, paralegal, workplace, or HR generalist role Demonstrated proficiency in enhancing onboarding, offboarding, or employee experience programs Experience processing payroll, ideally covering multiple countries (US, UK, Canada) High proficiency with spreadsheets, including use of formulas and pivot tables Prior experience managing internal or external events of 10-100 attendees Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort managing compliance tasks Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to work on-site at our SF office 3-4 days per week It’s also nice if you have: Experience drafting, negotiating, or redlining simple legal agreements (incl.
