It offers powerful tools that a photographer needs to edit, organise, store and share photos across desktops, mobile and web. The Adobe Digital Imaging (DI) team that builds this cutting edge imaging service is looking for a hardworking and highly motivated engineer and technical thinker to help build a scalable and responsive mobile application on Android, that brings powerful image editing and organising tools in the hands of photographers.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a high-performance core-engineering group of developers and architects.Collaborate with product management, architects, and other engineering teams in Digital Imaging group and the rest of Adobe to create the technical vision and road map for the team.Define and drive the best software development/engineering and operational practices for the team.Mentoring people, helping them grow, and develop their careers.Providing oversight, accountability, and leadership for technical decisions with a bias for action.Be well versed in emerging industry technologies and trends and communicate that knowledge to the team and use it to influence product direction.Requirements:B. S/B. E. /B. Tech. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree.Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design and performance.10+ years of software development experience on mobile/desktop/server applicationsExperience building and leading highly scalable and performance focussed Android applicationsStrong Java/Kotlin/C++ programming skills along with one of the scripting languages like Python/PerlHas good/practical understanding of architectural patternsStrong people management and leadership skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Most importantly, an ability and curiosity to solve non-trivial problems and a passion for continuously evolving the implementation with latest advancementAdobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
