Job Requisition ID #25WD89920Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join our BIM360 Admin Team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the BIM360 Administration Tools. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our customers' needs. Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is a big plus.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable infrastructure to support BIM360 Admin applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new featuresEnsure the performance, security, and reliability of applications and infrastructureIdentify and correct bottlenecks and optimize system performanceHelp maintain infrastructure as code and develop automation toolsMentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s technical growthStay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.Strong experience with cloud services, particularly AWSProficient understanding of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).Solid understanding of network protocols and security best practicesExperience with observability tools such as Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Splunk, SentryRuby on Rails knowledge is a big plusExceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment#LI-DPLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
