About this role
We are looking for an experienced data analyst who is passionate about leveraging data to drive change in the education industry. In this role, the Senior Data Analyst will take ownership of business intelligence and analytics initiatives. From defining core business metrics to enabling stakeholder insights through visualizations and deep-dive analyses, this person will play a critical part in shaping the data culture of our company. This person will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across our company, as well as the executive leadership team, to deliver highly visible analyses that can change the way we operate.
Role responsibilities
Collaborate with business leaders across the company to define and track KPIs, developing dashboards in Tableau that report on, and reflect, the health of the business
Partner with data engineering to build your knowledge of Presence data sources, and improve the quality of data and data processes
Write SQL to extract data from our Amazon data warehouse and define the business logic that powers our understanding of Presence business performance
Work with engineering to build and enhance AI models with proprietary data
Lead projects with internal teams (such as Operations, Sales, Commercial and Finance) to identify and analyze key trends in the business
Perform in-depth, insightful analyses utilizing advanced Excel functions
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
What are we looking for?
Proven experience (5+ years) as a data analyst
Advanced expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred), Looker, or Power BI
Proficient (4+ years) in SQL and familiar with data transformation tools such as dbt and Airflow
Strong ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and present findings clearly to key stakeholders
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and framing unstructured problems into analyzable components.
Highly organized and results-driven
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
Experience with scripting language (R/Python) a plus

An employee’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and market conditions.
Salary ranges are:
105,000-125,000

This position reports to the Director of Data Analytics
