What the Role Is
As a Senior Product Designer focused on Registry experience, you'll help shape the design of one of Babylist's core product areas: helping millions of expecting parents create registries and enabling their loved ones to give meaningful gifts. You'll design across web and mobile platforms to create intuitive experiences that make gift-giving joyful and registry management effortless. Working closely with product and engineering teams, you'll help ship impactful features that directly affect our users' most important moments. This role balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring every interaction feels thoughtful and polished while contributing to our design system.
Who You Are
You're a product designer with 5+ years of experience who combines solid visual design skills with understanding of user flows and interaction design
Your portfolio includes native mobile app design work alongside responsive web experiences
You can create detailed, responsive designs that work seamlessly across platforms
You're comfortable managing ambiguity and can break down complex problems into impactful solutions
You understand how to craft user journeys and make complex processes feel intuitive
You champion empathy for users through lean research methods and advocate for user needs with cross-functional partners
You're interested in design systems and understand how consistent components benefit the broader product
You care deeply about the details of design, interaction, and execution
You can utilize qualitative and quantitative data to track and improve customer-centric metric

Your design work will directly influence how millions of families experience some of their most meaningful moments: from creating their first baby registry to receiving gifts from loved ones
You'll drive the end-to-end product design process with speed and focus on delivering products that users love
You'll identify friction points in the registry experience and design solutions that make the process more intuitive and delightful for both registrants and gift-givers
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, incorporating diverse perspectives to build trust and achieve design excellence
You'll get your designs in front of users to gather feedback and iterate on the experience before launch
You'll uphold top-notch craftsmanship, ensuring the product maintains a high standard of functionality and user experience
You'll contribute to our design system, creating reusable patterns that maintain consistency while supporting innovation

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The estimated pay range for this role is CAN $111,540.00 - $139,425.00
In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
