Job Requisition ID #25WD90008Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to join our Insights Platform Engineering team. The platform is responsible for providing Insights to our customers that will help them make informed decisions. You'll be responsible for building and leading the team to ensure that we build a creative and scalable experiences for our customers.As an ideal candidate, you’ll have led teams developing modern web experiences in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll know how to build and guide highly effective and high-performing teams and inspire them to remain at the cutting edge of the fastest-growing technology stack. You’ll excel at being a mentor and coach to engineers at all points of their career journey.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and mentor a team of full-stack engineersProvide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior management regarding the development, capabilities, and potential of current and future software projectsUnderstands the frontend technology stack, comes up with design and codes on needs basisAid in the design and building of solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applicationsBe responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projectsIdentify efficiency opportunities through automation, engineering, and processWork closely with technical leads, product managers, and others to drive towards a common visionProvide insightful leadership to achieve a high software engineering standard, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and other best practicesHire, manage, and develop a professional staff of engineersCollaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholdersMinimum QualificationsBE/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred)8+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 2+ years of people management experienceExperience working with cross-functional stakeholdersExperience in an engineering role delivering software solutionsStrong hands-on experience with technologies, such as ReactJSStrong knowledge of cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)Good understanding of backend technologies like data streaming, data storage and data transmission.Experience with scrum and agile development processes and methodologiesProactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skillsProven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issuesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $145,800 and $235,950. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
