Job Requisition ID #25WD90050Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Engineer to enhance our cloud platform and improve the Product Access journey for millions of Autodesk users. This role emphasizes delivering resilient, scalable, and high-performing applications on AWS infrastructure. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams. You will independently drive system design, implementation, and delivery, receiving general instructions for routine tasks and detailed guidance for new projects.ResponsibilitiesImplement design solution and maintain cloud applications supporting microservices architectureCollaborate with cross-functional teams on software design, test automation, monitoring, and CI/CDIndependently manage requirement analysis, solution design, implementation, and release planningEngage in system resiliency, reliability, scalability, and security improvement effortsOptimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement resilient solutionsApply best practices and quality standards in engineering design, development, and testingProvide troubleshooting support for pipeline issues and customer-reported incidentsParticipate in on-call rotations, providing critical 24x7 support for our production systemsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of progressive, professional experience in software development of microservices and serverless architecturesStrong core Java and SpringBoot skills in developing optimized, multi-threaded, and scalable server applicationsHands-on experience with unit, integration, and system testing tools such as Junit, Wiremock, Cucumber, or similarExperience in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, Groovy, etcExperience with container-based technologies, e.g., Docker, AWS ECSExperience with build tools, e.g., Gradle, MavenBroad knowledge of AWS cloud services, serverless programming, databases, and cloud architecturesStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate in an agile/scrum team-oriented environmentTechnology stack: Java/SpringBoot, AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Kibana Elastic Search, etc), Kafka, GoLang, NodeJs, Groovy, Python, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, ServiceNow, and SplunkPreferred QualificationsProven experience in designing and developing cloud applications on a microservice architectureKnowledge in applying AI and ML solutions for engineering processes and/or DevOps automationExperience in working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, etcKnowledge of data streaming pipelines such as Kinesis, Firehose, and Kafka.Ability to work independently and manage multiple aspects of project developmentSelf-directed, accountable, and demonstrates end-to-end ownershipLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $91,800 and $158,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
