The Data Analyst analyzes data collected from the field and various tests to evaluate Echodyne radar system performance, identify potential issues and provide relevant insights, and support other teams to better serve the customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with various teams to understand what their analysis needs are and identify metrics to be studied. Analyze collected data to evaluate and characterize radar system performance, identify problems or concerns. Design analysis procedures and software/tools. Build pipelines (mainly in Python) for analysis automation. Produce written reports summarizing the results of analyses for internal and external consumption. Assist in identifying and root-causing issues. Explore available radar data in an open-ended way, looking for new insights and suggesting feature improvements based on data analysis. REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Good written and verbal communication to both understand what is needed from a test or analysis, and to share conclusions. Good technical writing and data visualization skills to make conclusions and outcomes readily interpretable and useful to internal and external technical and non-technical audiences. Solid statistics background and experience with analysis of complex datasets. Proficiency in Python, SQL, data processing, analysis and visualization libraries and tools. Good spatial understanding and ability to work with multidimensional data, 3D geometry (vectors, rotations, coordinate transforms). DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE  (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)   Linux proficiency. Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technology. Familiarity with radar systems, signal processing, RF, machine learning, and state estimation. QUALIFICATIONS BS with 7+ years’ work experience, MS with 4+ years’ work experience, or PhD in statistics, math, data science, engineering, or physics.
