Job Requisition ID #25WD88023Position OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff to support the Vice President of Acquisition & Performance Marketing (APM) at Autodesk and the APM team. This role is crucial in driving the success of the APM team by providing operational, strategic, and administrative support. You will act as an important partner and trusted advisor, to build our teams goals and deliver key projects.You will report directly to the Vice President of APM. This is a remote position for candidates based in the United States, but you must be comfortable working Pacific Time Zone hours and with globally distributed teams.ResponsibilitiesStrategic PlanningCollaborate with the Vice President, APM to plan and facilitate executive meetings/workshops with the rest of the organization. This can include formulating topics to cover, building and advising agendas, guiding the discussion, bringing together notes and action items and following up as appropriateDesign and guide outcome-oriented strategy meetings and workshops. This could include team building sessions, organizational reviews, strategy discussions, and other topics for team meetingsAssist in setting priorities and defining the team's yearly goals, objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure the effectiveness of APM efforts. Track and report out on a quarterly basisHelp lead the annual budget and planning process for APM, ensuring alignment to overall WWM objectives and strategyProject ManagementLead and manage cross-functional APM projects/programs from conception to completion. This may include key strategic programs that impact the overall success of the company. Some projects will span beyond the scope of the group, requiring cross-company collaboration.Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, product management, HR, and Finance to ensure timely and successful execution of APM initiativesTeam SupportSupport the development of content for the VP of APM including but not limited to the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external meetingsManage communications: both internal team communications as well as to the wider Autodesk organizationProvide high-level administrative support to the APM team including managing budgets and vendor invoicingStakeholder EngagementIdentify and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, cross-functional team members and other external partnersServe as a liaison between the Vice President, APM, and various stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaborationOperational ExcellenceDrive operational efficiency and effectiveness within the APM teamStreamline processes, implement best practices, and identify opportunities for continuous improvementTeam LeadershipAct as a 'trusted counsel' to the executive and senior leaders: provide insight and analysis on the organization's operations, key decision and other business areas as well as represent the VP in certain meetings he/she is unable to attendChampion a spirit of collaboration and open communications: Work across teams to advance organizational goals and engender trust, including working with other Chiefs of Staff across the company, sharing and developing best practicesProvide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to help them achieve their professional goals and objectivesHelp with team culture and morale-focused initiatives in partnership with our people teamMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or related field8+ years of experience in leading large programs across teams or organizations, often working on multiple projects at the same time3-5 years in a leadership or management roleStrong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable strategiesExceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiencesVersatile self-starter with a team-oriented work style. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,200 and $223,630. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
