As a Customer Onboarding & Enablement Specialist within our Global PMO, you’ll be the driving force behind successful customer journeys from the moment a deal closes. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure every new customer enjoys a smooth, consistent, and impactful onboarding experience.

In this role, you will:
Deliver Seamless Onboarding: Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers, guiding them through a structured onboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition from Sales to Implementation.
Empower Through Training: Develop and deliver engaging training programs and materials for customers and internal teams, ensuring confident and effective use of onboarding and project management tools (e.g., Rocketlane).
Champion Best Practices: Create and maintain a comprehensive repository of SOPs, templates, and governance artifacts to drive consistency and excellence across all onboarding projects.
Foster Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Delivery to coordinate onboarding efforts and communicate customer feedback for ongoing improvement.
Act as a Product Expert: Provide expert support, creative solutions, and product demos to resolve onboarding challenges and ensure a positive customer experience.
Analyze & Improve: Track and report on onboarding and training metrics, using insights to refine processes and enhance customer engagement and retention.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to diagnose issues, adapt onboarding approaches, and remove roadblocks.
Adaptability & Flexibility: Comfortable tailoring your approach to different customer types, industries, and technical backgrounds.
Project Management & Organization: Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple customers and deadlines.
Customer Retention & Success Focus: Results-driven mindset with a focus on driving customer satisfaction, retention, and reducing churn.
Continuous Improvement: Commitment to seeking feedback and iterating on onboarding materials and processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to achieve customer success.
We would love to hear from you if:
You have 5+ years in technical writing, onboarding, training, or enablement—ideally in B2B SaaS, AI, or enterprise software.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
You have strong collaboration skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
You are proactive, organized, and comfortable meeting deadlines and exceeding SLAs.
You have deep understanding of operational processes and a passion for continuous improvement.
You have familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Google Workspace, Salesforce, LMS platforms, or similar documentation repositories is a plus.
You have ownership mentality, intrinsic motivation, and a commitment to getting better every day.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (preferred)
You have customer success or project management certifications (a plus)
This position is available for remote work across most of the United States. (** SoundHound AI DOES NOT offer employment in Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.) Regardless of workplace arrangement, employees within a 60-mile radius of a SoundHound AI office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” per month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration.
