We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.Job SummaryPartners with relevant functional and technical teams to support Oracle cloud applications aligned to the business and IT strategy, as well as the support of those applications. ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line support to users of Oracle Cloud ERPResponding to help desk queriesProviding one-on-one support, explanations, and guidance to users regarding finance operationsTriaging data issues, process issues, and user errors before escalating to ITPerforms financial systems maintenance (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Revaluation rules, open/close periods, alternate reporting hierarchies, etc.)Schedules system processes Troubleshoots interface/import file issuesMonitor inbound/outbound interfaces for data issues, ensuring system synchronization Maintain and set up globally consistent standard reports and provide ad-hoc reporting guidanceLiaise with IT and business users to define and prioritize business-related issues associated with systemsUse a broad understanding of business and systems to identify possible business issues related to system designs and evaluate enhancement requests from usersPartner with other system owners to ensure data quality, timing, and financial reporting impacts are fully understoodCoordinate user acceptance testing for new system or enhancement releases.  This involves assistance with the creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the scheduleDocumentationFollows guidelines and templates relevant to a particular technology stack to produce the necessary project artifactsTesting & Test DesignOwns specific modules in the application and develops test cases based on requirements and technical designDefines test strategy and execution approach to test specific modules of an applicationCoordinates with stakeholders and obtains relevant signoffsClarifies defects, triage, and coordinates resolution with engineering teamsSystem ConfigurationsDevelops mastery in configurations of specific module/modules of an applicationBrings in best practices by keeping up-to-date with the technology and vendor productsDocuments configurations for future use and trainingDay to Day Support (Production Support)Supports first level resourcesTriages and troubleshoots issuesWorks with various functions within GTS to ensure RCA is complete and SLAs are metTraining and Change ManagementWorks directly with functional SMEs and management teams to coordinate SME training requirements and executionCommunicates status against key support issuesProvides status against plans and escalates issuesQualifications5+ years experience in analyticsBachelor's in Information Systems, Business or related field, cross-functionalAcademic background in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, IT, or related fieldsExtensive years of experience working within the finance and accounting organization of a Fortune 1000 companyWorked on Oracle Cloud applications like Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Purchasing and Exposure to the Finance processStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to understand and assimilate new ideas and manage changeWillingness to aggressively set and achieve goals with a minimum of directionExcellent planning and organizational skills combined with strong written and oral communication skillsStrong analytical skills and some technical accounting knowledge with strong attention to detailStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesHands-on experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud ERP5 years’ experience in multinational companiesEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
