About the Role We are looking for a full-stack data analyst who can take end-to-end ownership of the data and analytics ecosystem at Valon. You will be responsible for building out our reporting, generating insights, creating data products, supporting our data infrastructure, and more. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organization and serve as the authority on the key metrics which drive our business. The right candidate is analytical, works well under changing circumstances, and has a good mix of technical skills and business intuition.   Responsibilities Write SQL queries, build reports and dashboards, and conduct analysis to empower business leaders to make effective decisions Create reporting pipelines in dbt Help establish and influence data process, tools, and systems that will allow us to make better decisions in a scalable way Partner with other members of the data team to improve our data platform Leverage our data tools to create products that increase the efficiency of our operations teams Document our data, ensure data accuracy and create/improve data sets to meet Valon’s data needs  Respond to data requests from the product and business teams Dive deep to understand the inner workings of a highly complex industry Ideal Background 4+ years of full-time work experience in data analytics, product analytics, business analytics, or business intelligence, ideally at a tech company  Expert in SQL required (Python skills a plus) Experience with dbt Experience using data visualization tools, especially Hex, Looker, or an equivalent BI tool Experience working with data engineering teams and building out data infrastructure Experience applying data and analytics concepts to business problems cross-functionally Benefits Base Compensation Band: $105,000 - $260,000 Compensation; competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity and our performance bonus program  Health & well-being; we’ll invest in your physical and mental well-being with comprehensive medical, dental, & vision benefits Grow together; learning & development opportunities including regular review cycles that feature 360 degree feedback Equipment; we’ll provide you with the equipment you need to be successful and a one-time $200 stipend for your initial desk setup  Generous time off; paid time off, uncapped sick days, and 11 company holidays  Baby bonding time!; 3 months off for birthing parents and 2 months off for non-birthing parents - fully paid so you can focus your energy on your newest addition This Base Compensation pay range applies to our New York City located staff and may differ according to location.  New York Base Compensation Pay Range $105,000 - $260,000 USD Throughout the interview process, please remember that emails will only be from valon.com emails.
