Associate Tax Specialist

This role also supports audit defense, tax research, and financial reporting for income taxes. Additionally, the position contributes to general tax compliance efforts, ensuring that miscellaneous taxes are accurately maintained and filed on time.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, and capable of working collaboratively across various departments within the organization under guidance. ResponsibilitiesAssist in performing compliance duties for the company's entities with a focus on compliance and planningSupport the preparation of the quarterly and year-end accounting for income tax (ASC 740) provisionResearch tax issues and assist in tax planning projectsPrepare calculations of estimated tax paymentsContribute to all tax-related auditsAssist with internal control complianceAnalyze and assist with the international transfer pricing strategy in place with foreign subsidiariesManage various notices from tax authoritiesPrepare indirect tax filings, such as sales, VAT, property tax returns, and annual reports as neededQualificationsRequired:Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance0–2 years of public/private accounting experienceAbility to perform tax researchEffective verbal and written communication skills in a team environment and with all levels of managementStrong PC skills, including high proficiency in ExcelStrong work ethic and a team playerHigh degree of professionalism with the ability to handle difficult, sensitive, and confidential materialExceptional aptitude for accuracy and timelinessFlexible and dependableDesired:Master’s Degree (Accounting, MBA, Finance)CPA certificationKnowledge of tax complianceExposure to ASC 740 If you thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment, we invite you to share your passion, ideas and excitement at nCino. The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy.
