The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading software engineering teams, managing complex projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, key partners, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of audio software products.Team Leadership and Management: Lead and grow audio software engineering teamProvide mentorship, guidance, and direction to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop career growth plans for team members.Project Management and Delivery Take full ownership of audio software product development, including technical planning, implementation, and release delivery.Ensure timely and efficient delivery of audio software projects, meeting both internal and external stakeholder expectations.Technical Expertise and InnovationDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, best practices, and the use of abstraction to address common development challenges.Implement industry-standard best practices and experimental and testing methodologies to ensure software quality and process efficiencies.Lead discussions on product and system architecture, conduct design reviews, and make informed decisions on technology stack adoption.Leverage expertise in audio software development, particularly in Windows environments, including APO (Audio Processing Objects) and related technologies.Communication and Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively and concisely at both technical and high-level summary levels, including technical papers, product documentation, and executive reporting.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with project goals.Provide regular updates on project progress, resource impacts, and risk factors to senior management and key partners.Pre-Requisites :Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience 8+ years of experience in audio software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.Proven track record of delivering high-quality audio software products in a fast-paced environment.Experience managing global teams, preferably with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.Strong background in audio software development, particularly in Windows environments, including APO (Audio Processing Objects) and related technologiesSkills Strong technical background with expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess resource impacts and risk factors.Experience with project management tools and methodologies.Proficiency in audio software development, including experience with APO and related technologies in Windows environmentPersonal Attributes Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results.Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.Are you game?
