Job Requisition ID #25WD89811Position OverviewWe seek an enthusiastic Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join the Autodesk flow team. Autodesk Flow will connect people, workflows, and data across the media and entertainment production pipeline for faster content creation in the cloud.The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with an experienced team of colleagues to develop and execute product tests. Testing will be used to inform development and design activities, ensuring we are developing high-quality solutions that will delight our customers. By joining the Maya team, you will become an active contributor to the success of this industry-leading digital content creation package. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze new feature specifications to create test cases or to supplement/improve existing testsTest product workflows to discover defects in product featuresReproduce, isolate and confirm reported defectsWork with software developers and other stakeholders to prioritize and fix issuesValidate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardwareLog defects for tracking and reportingActively participate in team meetings throughout the development life cycleSimulate production testing scenariosContribute to the development of automated tests Participate in various product release activities Minimum Qualifications3 to 8 years’ experience using product such as Maya, 3ds Max or other 3D packages, in productionClear verbal and written English communication skillsExperience working on Windows, Mac OSX, and LinuxExcellent interpersonal skills, able to work well in a cross-functional team environmentKeen eye for detail, meticulous and analytically mindedStrong technical troubleshooting skillsAnalytical advisor role that requires understanding of the theories and concepts of a discipline and the ability to apply best practicesA common career stabilization point (AKA the “full-contributor” level) for Professional rolesRequire knowledge and experience such that the incumbent can understand the full range of relevant principles, practices, and practical applications within their disciplineSolve complex problems of diverse scope by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and applying knowledge of best practices in practical situationsUse data analysis, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of actionApply creativity in recommending variations in approach“Connect the dots” of assignments to the bigger pictureMay lead projects or key elements within a broader projectMay also have accountability for leading and improving on-going processesBuild effective relationships with more senior practitioners and peers, and build a network of external peersWork independently, with close guidance given at critical pointsMay begin to act as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with Desktop productsExperience with web and cloud applicationsExperience with computer programming or scripting (Mel, Python, C++)Familiarity with Software Development Life CycleFamiliarity with agile software development practicesExperience in quality assuranceLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
